Description
ALBIT – device which will amaze you …
New generation !
Albit was designed as a simple and effective ultrasound scanner for general imaging as well as specific applications like Urology applications (urology practitioners) are dedicated to renal, bladder, testicular and penile imaging and exams. Ultrasound imaging can be performed in the urologist’s office, in the hospital or in an outpatient facility.
TRUS – UROLOGY / PROSTATE : The most common indication for a prostate ultrasound (also known as a transrectal ultrasound) is to exams men considered at risk for prostate cancer (prostate screening). The study is usually performed in association with a simultaneous prostate biopsy.
Our advice : biplane endorectal probe type 2R575 (5-10 MHz)
PENILE and ERECTILE DISPFUNCTION : Penile ultrasound can be used to evaluate many conditions affecting the penis, including erectile dysfunction (ED), plaques (such as those caused by Peyronie’s disease), fibrosis, lumps, and even cancer. Duplex ultrasound is used to evaluate blood flow, venous leak, signs of atherosclerosis, and scarring or calcification of erectile tissue.
Our advice : linear probe LA-510 (5-17 MHz)
SCROTAL AND TESTICLES: Wide rand of study and imaging i.a varicocele, hydrocele, infection or abscess, noncancerous (benign) cyst, testicular torsions, testicular tumors etc.
Our advice : linear probe LA-510 (5-17 MHz)
URINARY ORGANS : Renal ultrasound studies are useful for demonstrating the size and position of the kidneys and are helpful in identifying obstruction of the kidney, kidney stones or masses in the kidney. The most common reason for bladder ultrasound is to check bladder draining and studies of : enlarged prostate, urethral stricture, bladder dysfunction. Bladder ultrasound can also give information about :the bladder wall, diverticula (pouches) of the bladder, prostate size, stones large tumors in the bladder etc.
Our advice : convex probe CA-255 (2.5- 5 MHz)
